Stevens Amendment
Federal $24,282,069 representing 90% and non-federal $2,698,008 representing 10%.
Priority is given to Veterans and their qualified spouses, then to individuals who:
- Are over age 65
- Have a disability
- Have low literacy skills
or limited English proficiency - Reside in a rural area
- Are homeless or
at risk for homelessness - Have low employment prospects
- Have failed to find employment
after using services through
the American Job Center system. - Formerly Incarcerated

Partnerships help to expand our ability to deliver greater community and workforce development solutions. By 2028, more than 25% of American workers will be 55 or older. Older Americans bring experience, intelligence, and generational diversity to the workforce. NCBA-SCSEP can help your business tap into the mature worker population through our nationwide Senior Community Service Employment Program in the District of Columbia, Florida, Illinois, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Ohio. Our partnerships expand our ability to deliver.

OUR HOST AGENCY PARTNERS
NCBA-SCSEP partners with 1000 host agencies. They are 501 (c) (3) non-profit, faith-based, colleges, local, state, and federal government agencies to assist with training our participants to transition toward employment.
The Host Agency is matched and supervises the SCSEP participant at their business location that serves as a training site. YOU TRAIN THEM – SCSEP PAYS THEM!
