Senior Environmental Employment Program (SEE)

NCBA is here to provide you with all of the resources you need for employment with the Senior Environmental Employment Program (SEE)

From engineers and public information specialists to typists, writers and chemists, skilled, seasoned professionals age 55 and older may qualify for positions with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program.

NCBA is one of six national organizations selected to administer the SEE Program in accordance with the Environmental Programs Assistance Act of 1984, which authorized grants for certain nonprofit organizations to place people, age 55 and over, in environmental support assignments that support, not displace, civil servant positions.

NCBA ensures that applicants are qualified and available for the positions

NCBA/SEE Enrollees are assigned to the EPA headquarters in Washington, DC, and in EPA Regional Offices and Environmental Laboratories in the Research Triangle Park, NC; Ada, OK; Gulf Breeze, FL; and Athens, GA.

Positions in the SEE program are available in four levels, determined by the job description and skills required.

Enrollees enjoy a variety of benefits, including health and dental insurance; sick and annual leave; and 11 paid holidays each year.
