The National Caucus & Center on Black Aging

(NCBA) was founded in 1970 to ensure the socioeconomic concerns and challenges of Older Black and African Americans were addressed at the 1971 White House Conference on Aging. Over the course of the last half century, the health care system has become more robust and more equitable; however, African American and Black immigrant older adults still lag behind.
